Parmağı düz tutan kas, tendon ve bağlardaki dengenin bozulması sonucu parmaklarda oluşan şekil bozukluğudur. Uygun olmayan ayakkabı, travma veya bazı hastalıklar dolayısıyla oluşur. Çekiç parmak parmağın orta ekleminde, tokmak parmak ise uç ekleme oluşan bozukluğun adıdır. Genellikle 2.,3. ve 4. parmaklarda oluşur.

Özel yakkabı ve tabanlıklarla üstesinden gelinemiyorsa cerrahi gerektirir. Bayanlarda daha fazla görülür.2. Parmağın diğerlerinden uzun olması, diyabet, eklem kireçlenmeleri, romatizmal hastalıklar ve genetik yapı risk faktörleri arasındadır.
Çekiç parmak tedavisi cerrahi olup, sadece tendon ameliyatı yetmeyip, kemik ameliyatıda eklenebilir. Ameliyat günü birlik hastanede yatmadan yapılır ve aynı gün taburcu edilir. Ameliyat sonrası atel veya alçı gerekebilir. Koltuk değnekleri gerekebilir. 4 hafta sonunda tam iyileşme olur.
